Hi there @ec5785, It sounds like you were able to find the information you needed regarding your contract with Shell, which is great! It's always a relief when you can track down important details like the minimum contract period.

Using the Wayback Machine is a clever idea for accessing older versions of web pages, including terms and conditions that may no longer be readily available.

It's also good to hear that TalkTalk's terms and conditions are more favorable for you. Having options is always beneficial, and it can lead to better service or savings. If you have any further questions or need assistance with anything else, feel free to ask!

Hello

How can I get hold of a copy of the full terms and conditions for the Shell Energy Broadband service that I signed up to?

I have found some emails which have links to the terms and conditions, one from when I last renewed my package and another one from when TalkTalk took over, but the links in both those emails no longer work.

Thanks

The terms and conditions for Talktalk contracts are linked at the bottom of any Talktalk page, @ec5785, but if you need clarity about what you were signed up to with Shell, speak to the Shell Migration team using Chat or on 03451 720088 during the day.

Thanks. In the end I found the information I needed in an email that Shell had sent to me with the subject line "Your contract summary and information" last time I renewed my contract.

It didn't have the full terms and conditions but it did have the information about my minimum contract period which I was looking for. It may also be possible to find the full terms and conditions from Shell using the "wayback machine" at https://web.archive.org/.

As it happens, for this particular query, it turns out the terms and conditions that TalkTalk offers its customers are more favourable than what Shell had offered, so I guess I should be happy whichever way it works out.
