I havent encountered any major internet problems for years, but something bad keeps happening lately with my connection/

Every day for the past 4 days, my internet has gone off around the same time - around 1am-2am for about 15 minutes, before it recovers.

I have tried resetting everything but the same problem persists. Is there any issues for this and likely to recover soon, or is there something else going on at my end that I can try to fix issue?

Hi @flaktime I'm sorry to hear this, I know how frustrating repeat overnight drops can be, especially when everything has been fine for years. Let’s get this sorted.

What you’re describing (a brief loss of connection around 1–2am for ~15 minutes) often points to one of these:

Scheduled network maintenance in the local area (typically done overnight to minimise impact).

Automatic router firmware updates / configuration pushes (the router may briefly reboot).

Dynamic Line Management (DLM) events on copper/FTTC lines that trigger a resync to keep the line stable.

Local factors at home (e.g., a timer‑controlled device or power interruption) causing the router to lose power or the connection.
