I suspect we won't get it but I'd appreciate some explanation as well given it was a major outage from around 8:15 to 3:20am affecting a good chunk of northern Scotland. I kept an eye on the Talktalk service status which claimed no reported problems the entire time and the Twitter support was singularly useless as their only response to the flood of reported problems was to DM them.

Having an issue with my WiFi that started tonight, I still have a white light on my router but no Internet connection. I have tried restarting and resetting my router but nothing changes. I logged into the admin dashboard as well but that just shows everything as working fine but it's clearly not. I need help with this ASAP as I do a lot of remote work.

I have a talktalk WiFi hub

I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and investigate it for you.

They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first. Please try to avoid posting on here until TalkTalk has responded to you, otherwise, this will just put you further down the queue.

There appears to be a major outage for talktalk at least in Scotland (going by twitter comments), it went down just after right but unfortunately so far no official response from talktalk who are claiming no reported problems on their dashboard and are telling the flood of twitter complaints to dm them.

Morning,

I'm sorry to hear this. Can I just confirm, is this still happening at the moment? Did you also try powering down the ONT?

Thanks

Thanks for confirming and I'm glad to hear that this is now working. It's possible that this could have been a short outage. If you do experience any issues then please let us know and we can look into this further for you.

Thanks
