Relocating ONT Box

Hi, I'm wondering if someone could help me please?

I have spent hours on the phone to TalkTalk and keep getting the same response...

I'm having some building work done in my home and it happens to be right where the ONT box is mounted. The wall is being taken out, so I need to relocate the ONT point, further down the wall. I told them I was happy to pay for the engineer visit, but they say there is nothing they can do and gave me the number for Openreach, who of course, will not deal with me direct.

Has anyone else had any similar issues or know who to go to for a fix please?

As this is not a fault, Openreach will treat this as a Low Volume Request (LVR) and the lead time for this is about 2 weeks. They will usually charge £128 for this, is this something you wish to proceed with ?

we can try, openreach will usually accommodate if the day is available, or will give the nearest day.
