    <description>&lt;P&gt;Ok that level of variation of signal is not stable enough to guarantee it won’t drop out at some point. The antenna in these devices is not the best. A WiFi analyser would give a better indication of signal strength.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Blink DHCP intermittent issues connecting to wifi</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When I do a device check I am told BLINK DHCP has intermittent problems connecting to Wi-Fi. This is consistent with my security system failing to arm. If I restart my sync module it will normally arm ok, but then some hours later stop again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can anyone advise how I can address this issue? Is it a router issue, a settings issue? What can I try.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Blink cameras work on 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi and it may be the case that by default your Wi-Fi SSID broadcasts both 2.4 and 5Ghz on the same SSID. Ideally you would be better off with an SSID set up on 2.4Ghz only.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Karl, all my other devices work ok, although I do have a latency issue with one mobile phone. I have 2 cameras connected, one of which has a weaker Wi-Fi signal than the other. Is this the issue.?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;An earlier answer suggests it may be a 2.4/5 GHz issue as the cameras only work on 2.4. If the camera attempts a connection on the 5 GHz range would this cause the system not to connect.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;is there a way to stop the camera trying to connect to the 5ghz signal?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You could temporarily disable 5ghz and see if that helps or create a dedicated 2.4ghz SSID. You don’t mention what router you have.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Mrwrighty has suggested a couple of things, but these seem to be a little outside my capabilities as things stand, so I need someone to explain these things in simpler terms.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;in the meantime I will try to reposition the camera with the weaker Wi-Fi signal and see if that helps.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you have a mobile phone, stand close to where the camera is installed and check the Wi-Fi signal, it needs to be decent but not necessarily 100%. This is by no means conclusive as the Wi-Fi antenna in the Blink will be different than the Wi-Fi antenna of the phone but might give you an idea. Environmental factors can influence Wi-Fi as well, such as thick/stone walls, windows, microwave ovens and W-Fi from your neighbours.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You have not mentioned what model router you have Eero or Hub2. This would help use help you with changing the Wi-Fi settings.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I tried and I get pretty much the same result as the app gives me for the camera, 2 or sometimes 3 bars of 4.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My router is SAGEMCOM FAST 5364 according to talktalk modem check, fed from an Openreach GFAST Modem&lt;/P&gt;</description>
