topic Full Fibre + BT Landline in Full Fibre

TT is my Broadband provider and BT my landline phone service. Both are supplied by a single copper cable socket with a splitter to a TP Link router for the internet and the phone lead. What will be the impact of the installation of Full Fibre, e.g. will I need to switch to TT for my landline service, need to change my router etc?

Hi

Full fibre can be installed alongside the existing phone line and an ONT unit will be installed inside the home, usually near the phone socket, although you can discuss this with the install engineer. You can still keep the landline with BT and just take the data only full fibre from TalkTalk.

I would however make the install engineer aware that your phone line is with BT and is to remain, just so he is aware.
