Wifi optimisation overriding channel changes

Hi,

Can somebody disable WiFi optimisation on my relatively new router please. It is overriding my manual channel changes back to cluttered channels within a day.

Router: FAST 5464-2. T4

I'm not sure if it's possible. But the deco app has a network optimization button which essentially does this. The problem with setting the channel manually is that every time a device restarts, it looks for the optimal channel meaning that maybe today channel 1 is the optimal but maybe tomorrow channel 6 is the best.

Not relevant in the situation for the OP, @george058. Staff switch off optimisation remotely and that sorts it unless the router is factory reset or firmware updates.

Yes, that's OK now thank you. I can select uncrowded channels. Previously the optimisation kept putting me back where all my neighbours were.
