When set up and in normal use the eero app will use the TalkTalk broadband connection via Wi-Fi. If you're at all concerned you can disable mobile data in the app management settings on the 'phone.

The eero Support Hub is your go-to resource for information, guides and Community support.

I've included a selection of the guides below. The eero has two Ethernet port sockets so to connect it to the Internet using your existing service you'd connect one eero port to one of the yellow Ethernet sockets on your existing router. NB this is just for the set up process not the final install as that will require you to disconnect your existing router and connect the eero to the ONT that's going to be installed to bring your Full Fibre service in to the home.

As part of the eero set up you can choose your Wi-Fi Network name and Wi-Fi password. To make the switch over easy you can use the existing router Wi-Fi Network name and Wi-Fi password. But be aware that using the eero and the existing router Wi-Fi at the same time with the same name is not recommended. When you cease to use your existing router then the eero will be set up to take over the device Wi-Fi connections. i.e. a seamless switch over.
