Hi gameinn

Do you have 2 master sockets? if so we can take over the other line.

If you call our sales team you will need to specifically ask for a new line.

I am with BT on FTTC. I want both this BT FTTC and TalkTalk FTTP connection (both Openreach). Some people have told me that ordering FTTP might cancel or migrate my BT FTTC connection. Is this true? How can I have 2 connections?

It shouldn't be a problem as the new FTTP will be a separate installation, and if you are staying with BT for FTTC, your landline phone number should stay with BT.

It might get more complicated if you find that BT stops the copper altogether and you will not be able to then transfer the phone number to VOIP with Talktalk without starting all over again with them too. It will only be an issue if that phone number matters to you.

It's certainly not that unusual to have two lines into the house (but usually with the same company) and there was a lot of promotion of that a few years ago.

No just one master socket. Can I do this over email to your sales team so I have evidence of what was asked if they don't do it properly?

A new socket will need to be installed and potentially a new physical line, so may take a while.

When you order you get an email called Autosign which includes all the information for the deal you sign up for, plus all calls are recorded.

Why would I need a master socket for a full fibre install? Will it be G. Fast?
