Suddenly unable to get into the router settings

As of today, I am no longer able to connect to the router settings, the page just spins forever and then eventually times out. This happens in all browsers.

What can I do to fix this?

Which make/model of router is this, do you know what firmware version it is running? If a Sagemcom, this is at the bottom of the login page.

Not a clue, nothing will load, can't even get to the login page, it just hangs on loading.

If you don't even know what router you have (label on the back of it - usually behind a pull up plastic panel), all I can suggest is that you perform a factory default of the router's configuration. You can do this by pushing in & holding the small recessed reset switch by the power button for about 10 seconds whilst it is turned on.
