Hello people,

I've upgraded to fibre 150 fttp and been given an eero 6 router however due to my set up it isn't ideal to use and would like to continue with the Sagecom router due to the additional ports.

I've tried turning everything off then on and connecting the open lreach modem to the red WAN port but it doesn't seem to work. The flashing light either flashes amber or amber and white or just stays amber. I've tried calling customer support but they said it isn't compatible however it does work temporarily if I set the whole network up with the eero then move the ethernet cable over to an ethernet port but only the LAN functions and not any WiFi from the Sagecom.

If some one can help me resume using my Sagecok router with Fibre 150 I would be much obliged.

If you need more information please let me know.

Hi Bobby,

Are you on an Openreach or City Fibre circuit?

Chris

Hello Chris,

Many thanks for your response.

As far as I am aware it is an Openreach circuit based on the installer being from Openreach and the modem in the building is Openreach branded for the FTTP.

OK thanks. The Sagemcom router should work fine, all you should need to do is disconnect the eero and connect the Sagemcom to the ONT with an Ethernet cable

If you've tried this and it doesn't work can you try switching the ONT off for 30 minutes then back on again and then connect the Sagemcom again - please let us know how you get on
