Nita I don't mean to be picky, but the loyalty team will know VoIP as Digital Voice.

Forgot To Say...

Unless you have some kind of medical device like an alarm that is actually connected to your phone. Then what you need is Voice Over IP.

When you phone the Loyalty Team you must insist that your New Broadband includes Voice Over IP (VOIP).

And you must also be able to keep your existing Land Line Phone Number.

Hi Keith,

Just looked at my contract. You are right, they do call it Digital Voice.

I'm so used to calling it VOIP on here.

Hi Nita,

No problem. Strictly speaking Voice over IP is used by Digital Voice to carry the voice signalling & conversations over an IP network. There are various protocol suites that fall under the VoIP umbrella, but I won't bore you with them.
