You want to connect your computer via an Ethernet cable then? of course, WiFi will still be available. Do you know which router you are getting, if it is an Eero, you may not have enough Ethernet ports on it? However, these can easily be added to, by purchasing a cheap gigabit unmanaged data switch.

I have just upgraded my internet and I am told an engineer will visit. My computer has to be hardwired to a router, will I still be able to use wifi on it. Sorry to be vague but as I am in my mid 70's I am a bit behind with technology.
