Extreme lag while gaming

Connection speed for downloads streaming video call etc brilliant, but when gaming we suffer with big spikes and rubber banding, which makes online gaming impossible. Download speeds are north of 65mbps, nat is moderate, not sure if this is causing the issues, all devices use wired connection and im stuck with my knowledge. Games just have packet loss and connection issue warnings, have tried port forwarding no change, wondering if its an issue with the router? Any help is appreciated.

Tests are clear, sync speed is at 79.9mb, and not seeing any errors on the line. Router is a few years old. I'll get a new router out to you, so we can rule out any hardware issues.
