rubbish talktalk connection test

Hi,

When I check the "connection test" it comes back with " seems to be a fault" yet I am getting 151mbs stable. could you tell the "powers to be" to upgrade the connection test so it is more accurate .

What has happend to the "Speed test" that seems to have "done a runner " not that it was very good, in the past (kept saying I had 50mbs when I had only 45mbs ( when I was on Fibre65 ). Oookla is pretty good, I have found the Which? site I can get 165mps "yeah right do not think so. " It is very eratic never the same speed, at least on my PC

Hi Michelle,

at the moment on my screen all I can see is "connection test" there used to be a "Speed test" which seems to have been taked off for

some reason ! So I use the Oookla site for checking. ( unless they have put it somewhere else on my screen.)

update, ran a connection test and got this message. We think there is an issue with your line but I am getting the 151mbs stable speed!

Thank you for trying this again. I've run a test on the line which is clear also so it's strange that it's coming up with this message. Would you like me to raise this over to our My Connection Team? Could you provide a screenshot of the message you can see but make sure to remove any personal information please.

Hi Michelle,

I would not bother raising a complaint. I have done enough of that in the past with little results. (getting to old for all that ) You know the line is fine, I know the line is fine. Can you tell me if TalkTalk have now stopped having a indevidual "Speed test" as they used to ?

Found it, you have now put the speed test under Network connections/ check connections/speed test. why you could not leave it on the main login page which would have been easier if that is the only test you went on for.
