Package Upgrade Equipment early delivery

I just upgraded my broadband package which is due to go live on the 11th Sept. For this I have a new router and zero pro wireless setup just delivered. Can I set up this equipment while on my old 65mb connection and run the current speed through the new equipment in the hope that the speed upgrade will then just happen on the 11th?

Have you currently got a Full Fibre 65 service? If so, by all means connect the eero (I think you mean?) to the ONT.
