Am considering an ungrade to my current FTTC line to Full fibre.

Can you tell me what the ports on the ONT that will be installed are?

Can you connect the old phone direct to the ONT?

Or does it have to go through your Digital Voice Adapter and into the Eero 6 meaning no port to further extend wired network?

Is it RJ-11 cable for phone and RJ-45 for Eero 6 router?

Thank you

The eero connects to the ONT via one port and to the DVA via the other. The DVA has all the cabling required to connect your existing phone.

Have a look at the setup guide here:

Thx for the reply but thats not what I asked.

Can u connect the phone direct to the ONT?

If not then I plan to use a Cat6 cable from the ONT for 20m (up the stairs) and connect to the first port on the Eero router then connect the second port to an 8 port switch. I would then connect the phone via the DVA into a port on that switch.

I presume that would work?

I just don't want the router where the ONT is.

Thx
