      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Debbie,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks to you and Chris, the "fix" has rectified my problem with phone display flashing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do have another issue that you may have a "fix" for:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I invoke certain Apps on my Android phone over my Talktalk full fibre WIFI, they take a very long time to load, buffering for 1-2 minutes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This happens particularly with BBC Sport/Weather apps and some "retail" apps such as M&amp;amp;S and sainsburys.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I use these apps on other WIFI set-ups (eg BT or Sky) they load instantly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can you help with this?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Kbleigh&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;However, I am going to need some more information about your broadband package.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. What make/model of router do you have (if this is a TalkTalk router, these details will be on a label on the rear or underside of it)?&lt;BR /&gt;2. What package are you on - full fibre?&lt;BR /&gt;3. What is ordinary internet performance like?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi KeithFrench,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your interest in my problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My router is a TALKTALK router, the make is SAGEMCOM and the model no is FAST 5464-2-T4.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am on TALKTALK Full Fibre which was installed earlier in the year (March2024).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;General internet performance, such as other websites, whatsapp, google, downloads from "catch-up" etc is fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Its just certain Apps which run very slowly!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Kbleigh&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;What sort of apps are these? In the 5464, have you looked at the firewall settings, it needs to be on medium, not high.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you connect a wired device to the ONT in place of the 5464, what speeds do you get using a speed test?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

However, the "combined" BBC app, from which you can invoke Weather sport etc works fine!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Other apps which "buffer" for about a minute before loading are M &amp;amp;S, Sainsburys, Hobbycraft, i.e. "retail" type apps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once the BBC apps have loaded the performance between "screens" is fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm not a "techie" and so I don't really want to start changing the Router settings at this stage.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your help&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Kbleigh&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Debbie &amp;amp; KeithFrench,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just thought I would let you know that I have resolved the issue with "slow loading" apps on Android phone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It was nothing to do with the Router, but was caused by a weak 4G signal interfering with the WIFI.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It has been rectified by disabling "WIFI Calling" in the Network settings of the mobile phone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All working fine now.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks again for your help&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;KBLeigh&lt;/P&gt;</description>
