Digital voice operation - As TalkTalk are about to discontinue their copper landline service

As TalkTalk are about to discontinue their copper landline service, does anyone know if the suggested Digital voice option can be used for a 4 phone BT 2500 SYSTEM covering four separate rooms, as I am presently doing with my current landline?

If they are a cordless multiset connected to a base unit wirelessly, then yes.

I thought that TalkTalk were holding off on switching off the analogue POTS: https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Our-Blog/Copper-Telephone-Network-Switch-Off-What-does-it-mean-for-you/ba-p/2988498, namely "Good news for TalkTalk customers! this is not the case as we use our own solution and equipment. You will not be immediately impacted; you will continue to be able to order traditional phone services and you will be able to continue to use your current copper (analogue) voice service beyond December 2025."

Or is this information no longer correct?

I think that the OP is just referring to the general direction of travel, @Sidious, but it came over as though it was imminent.

We all have to make the change over to full fibre and in many cases Talktalk customers have done this, for many others there's no immediate rush.

Posting from my Fast Broadband ADSL copper based service which is fine for my purposes!

It's a matter of when is it convenient for people to fit in the switch to the technology, rather than it being "kicked into the long grass".
