I see in my account that talktalk think I am using the Eero router, however as mentioned above I can’t use it.

As I do not have any wi-fi 6 equipment can I continue to use the Sagemcom Fast 5464-2.T4 router, and if so can you update my account to show this?.

Hi

My free full fibre upgrade including digital voice was carried out on the 31st Oct 2024 using the supplied Sagemcom Fast 5464-2.T4 router and went live almost straight away. However my existing contract expired on the 26th of Dec 2024 which I renewed online. Talktalk have sent me a new Eero router which does not include a socket for digital voice so I have been using the Sagemcom router.

From what I have read online the wi-fi on the Eero is not as good as the Sagemcom anyway, therefore should I keep the Sagemcom router ?.

Regards

Dave

Hi Bonzo71,

It's up to you really, you can continue to use the Sagemcom if your prefer or we can send you a digital voice adapter so that you can use the eero. Please let us know if you'd like the digital voice adapter

If you use the adaptor you can use your mobile to take landline calls when you are away from hone (see video below)

https://youtu.be/HyQRicd_bjY?feature=shared&t=36

Please ignore my last post, I have been on a live chat with Manohr and he is sending me a Grandstream box so I can connect the phone to the Eero router. We shall see how that goes !

Regards

Dave
