programme just stopped mid flow? Blank screen and we had to go back in to the player.

We have a new TV talktalk box. Twice, while we have been watching a programme on one of the players, BBC and Channel 4, the screen has gone blank part way through the programme and we have had to start again to get back into the programme. We also have to fast forward the get back to our place. Any ideas why this is happening?

try a reset of the box if this keeps happening and see if this helps
