That is a long way, frankly. Do you have an Echo, or Echo Dot presently, because recent models can act as extenders.

I do have an echo dot unfortunately it is an older generation. Without the Wi-Fi extender I will look into getting one when they are knocked down again . I was sure when we first had eero installed I could just about get Wi-Fi at the bottom of my garden .maybe I dreamt it.
I suppose another idea would be moving the router closer to the back of the house. But with so many devices attached vis Ethernet this would mean a lot of re-routing and I am not sure if I should use a longer Ethernet cable from the wall modem to the router

Hi @Anonymous

The Support people that you are referring to no longer work for TalkTalk.

Hi @daz45

If you want any in-depth help with WiFi reception, I am always happy to help. However, my guess is that you would need another eero to have any chance of achieving good reception in your garden. One important thing to consider here is do you have legacy mode enabled within the eero app? If you do, please disable that, as it prevents WiFi 6 from being delivered over the 2.4GHz band, which has a greater range compared to the 5GHz band.

The information below is provided by TalkTalk. For confirmation, please contact @Lorrainef.

KeithFrench is one of our valued Community Stars and can help with a range of issues related to wireless and networking. At times, he may ask you to send him test results via a Private Message to help analyse/diagnose an issue. Although Keith does not work for TalkTalk, he very kindly shares his time and knowledge to help others.

If you need further help or if we need to take any details such as personal information about your account like phone numbers, account numbers, etc, one of the TalkTalk team will jump in and help out.

OK so i should have said -

you will probably be offered a booster or extra eero depending on which package you are on as 60 - 70 feet with two walls in between is quite a distance.

I would call an extra eero in a mesh system a signal booster but that just me i will be more specific next time this question comes up I wouldn't want to appear to be giving false information even though i imagine 99% of members reading this would know exactly what i meant!
