I have full fibre 65 with a Sagemcom Router, version FAST 5464-2. T4.

It is clearly faulty and I think I need a replacement.

Over the past few years it has taken sometimes several hours for the flashing orange light to turn white after the power has been turned off. ( About three occasions)

Each time I reported this and spoke to a customer helpline and went through several checks but with no solution. Luckily the white light came on hours after my speaking to the assistant so I didn't need to take it further

Yesterday, I had a power cut but this time the router LED has not flashed white just orange even after over 15 hours.

I have completed all the normal attempts at a solution...

Eg power off 20 minutes, etc.

The internet is coming into the house as the ethernet cable from the white wall box works. Just no internet from the router.

A new router is, in my opinion, the only solution.

Thanks

Phoned the number and told to communicate by text. Copied my post to the text and got transferred to technical. Copied the post message again and after a few exchanges if questions and answers was offered a new router. Took about 45 minutes so not bad service.
