Your contract / connection continues until you normally give TalkTalk 30 days notice.

If you wish to give such notice, you need to phone and speak to the loyalty team

Alternatively, if you wish to move to another contract and it's a like for like contract you can ask your new provider to give TalkTalk notice. It's still a good idea to phone and give notice to ensure the connection is terminated.

@Mojodean44, you may notice out of contract bills are higher than during your minimum term if discounts have expired.

Options to renew usually turn up in an email 2 to 3 months before the end of your contract, though recently these have come in for some customers up to 6 months earlier than the scheduled minimum term.

Renewal is not automatic.

Continuing out of contract gives you the freedom to leave without early termination fees, but as Fr8ys says, subject to 30 days' notice or until the new provider takes over.
