    <description>&lt;P&gt;Cheers Keith&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;there are two version of google nest mini speaker that I’m aware off I have the first version&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ironically (Not that I’m a conspiracy theorist) but google have new announcement on there website for new products….&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;what I’m going to do is take a speaker to a friends house that doesn’t use talktalk and uses virgin media and will report back&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;bit two other people you know of what does that tell you&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>2x google nest speakers stopped overnight?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;my two daughters have gen1 google nest speakers in their bedrooms.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the other night both stopped working “cannot connect to wifi”&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’ve done the following&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1- hard reset both&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2- turned 5ghz wifi off on eero hub so it’s forced to use 2.4ghz&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3- I’ve changed the WiFi password and set back up&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;they just won’t connect to the eero hub via wifi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4- I’ve reset the eero hub and it has the latest firmware&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5- google home is updated and all other devices are working fine, my wife has the google larger speaker with the screen and this is not affected&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;again they were working fine! I I’ve read on forums it was a forced update and they have been bricked on purpose as they are so old?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;cheers&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Yes, thanks, I did see that, thanks very much anyway for pointing it out. However, eero never gives any details of what is really in an update.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I plan to first find out what these devices support &amp;amp; how they are supposed to connect to the eero and take it from there. Obviously, without any Google Minis to test with myself, I cannot see if there is a general problem connecting to eeros generally. Google's comments lay the blame at TalkTalk, rather than specifying if the issues that they have seen recently refer to eeros or Sagemcoms, both of which are in use with other ISPs anyway.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;My only goal here, as ever, is to resolve the issue, rather than blaming any party, without investigating it first.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Sorry, this is strange, I thought that this was all the same thread, I did not realise it was two separate customers with the same problem involving their eeros.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This means there are a few ways to play this:-&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;I can raise this with the TalkTalk Devices team to speak to eero.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;The customer can speak to eero support themselves - probably the best way.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;I can try to work with the customers on this.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I will raise this with Devices anyway, but I would like to know first from the customer &lt;a href="https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/737558"&gt;@Monkeyboy1975&lt;/a&gt;, if this only affects Minis or any other devices.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;sorry I shall clarify&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have 2 x google nest mini speakers&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;they both went down early hours of Sunday everything t was working fine up to this point&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I I’ve many other devices connected to my google home account which are NOT affected&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;since they have gone down I’ve hard reset them but they cannot update FireWire as they cannot connect to the eero hub&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;as soon as I type my eero username and password in on the google setup it just doesn’t connect as if the credential’s are wrong, they are correct&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’m my limited experience Logic would dictate the eero hub has updated automatically possibly and in this update there is something the speakers do not like.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;nothing else has changed they simply both stopped playing white noise during the night and I cannot re connect them to the eero hub as it is not taking the credentials&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks for your continued support&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Thanks, what version of eeroOS are they running now &amp;amp; when was it applied? I can test myself, but that would be with an Amazon Echo Show, so not quite the same. Alternatively, I can pass this to TalkTalk's Devices team to speak to eero, or you can contact eero yourself.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Fair comment, but it is interesting how in the other post the user same problem as me has stated google support has stared all complaints hve come from ‘talktalk’ customers. If true of course, just playing devils advocate&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just read up on it, NO i haven’t done a ‘network restart’ all I’ve done is restart the eero a few times&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;later tonight when everyone is in bed I will do a network restart and then try and set a speaker back up and will let you know&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
