Hi Handypop,

I have a HP Printer and have just checked my status and it,s connected. Funny enough I had forgotten about the printer( don,t use it much) but it connected automatically when I changed routers, although I had the same Home Network name as before. Now the signal is low, 2 out of 5 but thats because were the printer is located ( furthest from router).

Cheers.

Hi @Handypop

I can help with this, but I will need to know what make/model of router do you have & how is the printer supposed to connect to your Wi-Fi. Is it via WPS or do you manually select your network & enter the password via soft keyboard or similar on the printer?

The information below is provided by TalkTalk. For confirmation, please contact @Lorrainef, the manager of the TalkTalk support staff on this forum.

KeithFrench is one of our valued Community Stars and can help with a range of issues related to wireless and networking. At times, he may ask you to send him test results via a Private Message to help analyse/diagnose an issue. Although Keith does not work for TalkTalk, he very kindly shares his time and knowledge to help others.

If you need further help or if we need to take any details such as personal information about your account, like phone numbers, account numbers, etc, one of the TalkTalk team will jump in and help out.
