Should I be concerned?

I realise there is no peer to peer support, but just wanted to gauge peoples opinions before I contact the relevant people.

I had full fibre 150 fitted, the original fitting was not very good, so someone came back and redone it. It was a neater job, but I am concerned about the bend radius around the door frame being too tight, and could it affect the performance.

I have run several speed tests, which show a WiFi speed of up to 147mbs, which is what it should be. Even a wired in test is only a few mbs more.

The internet seems very sluggish and has a delay before opening pages or links, my previous 60mb broadband seemed quicker!

Could the tight radius of the cable bends affect it at all?

What type of cable is it, Cat 6 Ethernet or something else? Where is it running between?

It is a fibre optic cable, which comes from in outside, then runs around the door frame and connects to the ONT box

Re your comment on Peer to Peer, there is only Peer to Peer advice / support on the forum now, as there is no cover from TalkTalk staff. You are one half of the peer, the other half being others who offer their time and advice.

Maybe your original comment was a typo, so apologies if you already realised this.

I have kinks in my full fibre cable where it is fixed to my outside wall, and I doubt an engineering would fix it like this if it was going to cause an issue. The speeds you are achieving go someway to confirming this.

@KeithFrench is though the expert here, so he should be able to confirm once you confirm the type of cable as he requests.

I thought fibre optic cable should only be bent at a certain radius, to avoid crushing the centre glass part of the cable.

Maybe wrong though
