Email Access Lost

Good evening just looking for some help.

About 2 hours ago I lost access to send & receive emails on my MAC & iPhone.

the settings had been changed in line with the email message received from TalkTalk.

Can some please advise it they will be restored automatically?

Can you access your mailbox via webmail? Or is that also locked / blocked?

Enter your full TalkTalk Mail email address and password, select Sign in. If there's an error message let us know what that is.

What Operating systems are running on the MAC and iPhone?

I can access via Webmail on the iPhone is 16.3.1 and the MAC is 12.6.3

Excellent. Use webmail this weekend to keep in touch.

I'll request access is restored so you'll be back in action with secure settings on the iPhone and MAC next week. Both are capable of secure settings. Guides given below to Check settings in due course. NB the devices will not authenticate the password until TalkTalk Support do restore full access. A Support team member will reply here to let you know that restoration is authorised.

Prepare for TalkTalk Support - include in the Community Profile (not in these public posts):

Account holder name, TalkTalk home 'phone number (if not Data Only broadband)

Alternative mobile contact number. Full address with postcode (in the Location box)

Scroll down to Private notes to add the email address and customer account number

Check and Save changes
