I can’t access my emails on iPhone

Having updated my email settings as per the recent email from talktalk I cannot get my emails on my iPhone phone The error message suggests my password isn’t being recognised. Help!!

The iPhone will not authenticate a connection until TalkTalk Support restore IMAP access next week so long as the iPhone and all other methods of access to your mailbox are ready to use secure access settings.

The last resort action by TalkTalk to stop connections to your mailbox other than via webmail that's secure by design means that insecure connections have been detected. So we need to help you identify those insecure connections.

What model iPhone and what iOS operating system?

Any other mail collection service? Works mail? phone? laptop? notebook? desktop? tablet? All must use secure settings.

Prepare for TalkTalk Support - include in the Community Profile (not in these public posts):

Account holder name, TalkTalk home 'phone number (if not Data Only broadband)

Alternative mobile contact number. Full address with postcode (in the Location box)

Scroll down to Private notes to add the email address and customer account number

Check and Save changes

Until TalkTalk Support respond here next week about restoring access you'll be able to keep in touch using webmail.

Enter your full TalkTalk Mail email address and password, select Sign in.

It’s iPhone 13 Pro, ios 16.3.1

That's good. Capable of secure mail so will authenticate a connection when TalkTalk restore access next week. A request is in and TalkTalk will respond right here.
