Did you receive an email notification similar to this from TalkTalk advising "Our records show that you are still accessing your email using unencrypted email settings, because of this, from 17th February you will no longer be able to receive or send emails via this email app or software".

You'll need to tell us what devices you use for TalkTalk Mail, what operating system versions, what email versions etc. All mail collection services and email apps and email software must use secure settings.

Are you using the secure settings notified by TalkTalk? Tell us what you've set up as the incoming and outgoing mail server settings, security and associated settings for password authentication.

Prepare for TalkTalk Support - include in the Community Profile (not in these public posts):

Account holder name, TalkTalk home 'phone number (if not Data Only broadband)

Alternative mobile contact number. Full address with postcode (in the Location box)

Scroll down to Private notes to add the email address and customer account number

Check and Save changes

Select here: Update your profile

The settings are now correct and profile information filled in.

OK, just to say you haven't sought confirmation that your device(s) are capable of secure email to the required TLS 1.2 encryption standard. If you're absolutely sure you want to go ahead and have access restored I'll request full access is restored for the email address in your Community profile Private notes.

Yes, all currently connected devices have the recommended setting.
