Windows 7 is now a deprecated OS so I'm guessing Outlook is possibly also not able to use the STARTTLS outgoing command with port 587 and outgoing server authentication plus login using the full Onetel email address and password?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have been using Outlook on my PC and the Talk Talk server on my laptop for many years. I can still send and receive from the server, but I can only receive in Outlook not send - "Error address not found" when sending test message.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Using Windows 7 with Outlook. I have a onetel.com email address&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Receive pop3. mail.ontel.com - port 110&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Send - smtp.talktalk.net - 25&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just stopped recently has something changed?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anybody?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks Gondola - disabled port 25 is the answer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It would not work by just changing the port to 587 - I had to acess the "outgoing server" tab, in More Settings and tick " My outgoing server smtp requires authentication"&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Complete User Name and Password&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and tick "Log on requires Secure Password Authentication (SPA)"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am now back in business using port 110 for incoming pop3 onetel mail and port 587 for outgoing smtp talktalk mail.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Captainkirk&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;That tells me you're probably using Outlook 2010 or earlier.&amp;nbsp; TalkTalk Mail does not support SPA so that is never used. Furthermore TalkTalk are disabling IMAP4 and POP3 access for any mailbox that continues to have insecure connections from any mail collection service or device software.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Using POP3 insecure port 110 will simply get your mailbox limited to webmail only access because of continued use of insecure settings. If you choose not to use secure settings then get used to using TalkTalk Mail via webmail because that will end up as your only resource if TalkTalk lock your mailbox to webmail only access.&amp;nbsp; I expect you'll be back before too long but by then it might be too late. &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;So cease using an outdated version of Outlook and give it a good retirement. Certainly don't let it connect to your mailbox. Use webmail via an up to date browser like Chrome, Firefox or Edge if you cannot upgrade:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I will help you upgrade. But I cannot do anything with any Outlook software that does not support secure encryption to TLS 1.2 that is the minimum SSL/TLS encryption protocol required for TalkTalk Mail.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for all the info Gondola.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Under the Outlook 365 - pop3 settings - will the onetel.com address still be recognised for onetel customers. That was why it was kept orignally when the outgoing was changed to smtp.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Or wil port 995 work with "mail.onetel.com", or will TalkTalk auto redirect "onetel email addresses to talktalk.net?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are many onetel customers out there who still use "onetel" email addresses &amp;nbsp; - TalkTalk were committed to supporting them when thy bought out Onetel&lt;/P&gt;</description>

All TalkTalk Mail legacy domains must use the talktalk.net host server names. Onetel email addresses are a TalkTalk email address and the onetel email addresses remain unchanged but the mail server settings are mail.talktalk.net for incoming onetel emails and smtp.talktalk.net for outgoing onetel emails. All, exactly as shown to you in the table.&lt;/P&gt;
