Cant log into email on the appsuite link, says password incorrect PIPEX

I can't log into my email as I get the error message incorrect password. But it is the correct password thanks

So I just changed the email address to the other slightly different email address registered with it and it has let me in with password. I am not tech savvy so have no idea what is going on. Have I just used the master email address and what is happening with the other email address that I use the most and need

The mailbox is assigned the master pipex email address. So, if you can sign in to TalkTalk Mail webmail (the appsuite login) then that's good. However, you should also be able to sign in using the alias address with the same password.

Have you got Reset details - the password recovery options saved? You may need to upgrade the password if it's weak. How many characters are in the password? Is it a mix of uppercase and lower case letters, numbers and a symbol?

Select here: Sign in to TalkTalk Mail

Enter your master pipex email address and your email password, select Sign in.

Update your reset details is an option on the main settings menu (triple line icon on the top right header or cog icon on a mobile browser).

Check, update and Save the Reset details if needed, then you'll be able to use the Reset password now button in the help page Changing your email password.

If the password is deemed to be weak then my recommendation is to exceed the minimum required and use a password of 12-15 multicase letters and numbers and a symbol. A new password created from multiple words gives an opportunity to memorise the password that, for security, needs to be unique to the mailbox.

It is a weak password according to what you have written. I am not sure if I have got reset details. I would have to hunt . I will try your advice tomorrow and report back thank you .

You also need to test to check you have emails incoming.
