    <description>&lt;P&gt;As I understand it, Outlook 2010 doesn't support modern security protocols that TalkTalk use.&amp;nbsp; Rather than spend money with Microsoft you could try Mozilla Thunderbird.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Since 23rd February no access to emails using Outlook 2010.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Removed account from Outlook and then tried to add it back following the instructions found on this site.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Incoming Mail Encryption Method options SSl or TLS No option SSL/TLS&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Outgoing Mail Encryption Method options are the same.&amp;nbsp; There is no STARTTLS option&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Error message&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;*&amp;nbsp; Log onto incoming server (IMAP):&amp;nbsp; The connection to the server was interrupted.&amp;nbsp; If this problem continues, contact your service administrator or internet service provider (ISP)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;*&amp;nbsp; Send test e-mail message:&amp;nbsp; An unknown error occurred, error code 0x800c8101&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It's weird that one of our email accounts is still working fine in Outlook 2010 but the other account isn't.&amp;nbsp; Any explanation for that?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, downloaded Thunderbird.&amp;nbsp; When I tried to add the talktalk email using the exact details from the link they sent me, Thunderbird tells me&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;"You are about to override how Thunderbird identifies this site."&amp;nbsp; Is it safe to continue?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi ianv7, MrBear2022 is absolutely right we're restricting customers who aren't using the secure settings that we notified everyone to use.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The reason that 1 mailbox is still working and the other isn't is that our system that's used to restrict the mailboxes doesn't relate them to each other they could belong to anyone.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
