Hello,

I have been told by several friends that emails being sent to me are being rejected and not making it to my inbox. One of them has spoken to their Web Administrator and he says the following:

If you check Mark's email history, you'll see the problem lies with your domain's "SPF" record. This problem started around 26 April. Did someone make any changes to your domain's settings?

Please ask whoever looks after your domain settings to update your SPF and TXT records from:

"v=spf1 include:secureserver.net -all"

to

"v=spf1 a mx include:sendgrid.net include:secureserver.net ~all"

The SPF / TXT records tell recipients' spam filters whether or not they should trust an email that says it's come from the club. Currently, your SPF / TXT records say to NOT trust any email that wasn't sent via secureserver.net.

You need to include "sendgrid.net", which is the server that sends Pianola emails.

Once you've updated those SPF and TXT records, your emails will stop being bounced.

Another friend shared the following error message when she attempted the email:

From: Mail Delivery System <Mailer-Daemon@antispam.mailspamprotection.com>

Subject: Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender

Date: 26 March 2023 at 17:16:35 BST

To: friends_email

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients.
