Hi Moly53, it depends how they gained access. The best thing to do is to run anti virus and malware scans on all devices that access the internet.

My email account was hacked yesterday. I wasn't receiving any emails after this. I changed my password and when i went into my mail settings the Auto forward had been enabled and a very similar email address had been entered. I disabled this and took the spoof email address off and am now receiving emails. Will this have stopped the spammer getting my emails and sending anymore begging emails?

My Tiscali email account has been hacked & they quoted me my password in the email requesting I pay them via bit coin. I'm no longer receiving emails & they have changed my password. I've tried to reset the password using my mobile phone number on line but I keep getting an error message from TalkTalk. Please help me.
