Unable to open Windows Live Mail running on W7 op system

My computer runs Windows 7 with Windows Live Mail email client. This ran ok until a few days ago but now I get an error message 'Unable to send or receive messages for my account. Windows mail error code is 0x800CCC0F. Protocol is POP3, the email client won't let me select anything else. Incoming port 995. Incoming security SSL. Outgoing port 587. Outgoing security 3DES. Any ideas ?

Windows Live Mail is not supported by TalkTalk Mail.

Download Thunderbird that still offers support for Windows 7 and supports the TLS 1.2 secure encryption required for TalkTalk Mail.
