Windows Mail - Windows 11 - Receiving emails but not sending (sitting in Outbox)

Hi everyone.

Recently I discovered my emails were not sending. I knew it was time for a new PC and have subsequently purchased one.

Now after setting up my historic talktalk email account on the free Windows Mail app, I still am not able to send emails (they sit in Outbox) - just like on my old PC.

I've set up the account using the 'advanced settings' and set the outgoing mail server to 'smtp.talktalk.net' but still with no luck.

I've read on some forums that other people have experienced this issue since February 2023 - to be honest, I send so few emails it may have been that long ago that it stopped working.

Any advice is appreciated.

On Windows 11 Mail the Sync options for sending and receiving mail for a TalkTalk Mail managed domain are:
