I have a new laptop but can only access my last 2 weeks e-mails on Outlook. I have gone into my e-mail via the Talk Talk website but again only access the last 2 weeks.

I have 9 years of e-mails on my old laptop but cannot work out how to sync the Webmail or new Outlook to bring through all the old e-mails.

I have tried to look through all the settings to see if there is anything that only syncs 14 days but I cannot find anything and always need to access older e-mails.

Any suggestions how to fix this?

Hi Bev1971

The usual and classic answer is that you have set up an email account in Outlook as a POP3 account. This will download all mail messages from the Inbox and delete all downloaded mail but the last two weeks. This is a standard default setting for Outlook.

Your older laptop is also likely to be set up as a POP3 email account and is holding all downloaded messages on the laptop.

To synchronise all online mail messages you need to set up an IMAP email account. Do you need the Outlook settings for IMAP? NB You first need to delete the POP3 account but first backup all wanted mail messages.
