I received an e mail the other day allegedly from lineone.net advising that lineone.net support for lineone email addresses was due to be stopped and offered a new email with free 25MB of storage!. Bore all the hallmarks of a scam mail. Can anyone confirm that lineone.net email addresses will continue please.

Also is there a way of transferring my saved lineone emails to my talktalk email address?

Definitely a scam. Report to TalkTalk and delete.

There are no plans to cease Lineone mail.

You can export and import mail via the webmail sign ins.

To export:

Sign in to the lineone mailbox
Select the mail messages in the List view
Save as file via the More actions triple line menu icon in the toolbar
Multiple message will be saved in a zip file. Save to computer and extract to standard Email eml files

To import:

Sign in to the talktalk mailbox
Select the eml file(s)
Drag and Drop to the List view
You see a notification that the email has been imported
