Having to re login each occasion returning to @Talktalk.net emails

Hello

Realise various changes are due to take place on @talktalk.net email over coming months; is having to login on each returned visit to email this morning, despite box ticked saying to be kept logged in, a temporary glitch owing to some overnight update/maintenance or some such relating to that do you thing?

TalkTalk Mail users are being routinely asked to sign in to the mail platform. It's part of the process for identifying active mailboxes as a precursor to the planned migration of mailboxes to the OX Cloud 8 mail platform. Users will also be asked to sign in if cookies are deleted.

More detailed explanation follows. The sign in webpage is at apps.talktalk.co.uk and you're asked to enter your email address. There's a check to see if your mailbox is migrated or not. If not yet migrated there's a redirect to apps-legacy.talktalk.co.uk.

But if you open a new page at apps.talktalk.co.uk you'll get the sign in check once more. If you're signed in and not migrated you'll get the redirect to apps-legacy.talktalk.co.uk and if not signed in you'll be asked for the password for authentication.

If you wish to stay signed in then change your bookmark to https://apps-legacy.talktalk.co.uk/appsuite

You'll stay signed in if you've set to stay signed in and if cookies that authenticate your sign in are not deleted.

Planned upgrades to TalkTalk Mail July-October 2023

TalkTalk Mail users are expected to receive a prior notification by email of the migration of the email mailbox. There will be further advice and instructions in the notification email.
