Recover and access a tiscali email mailbox

An old tiscali email is linked to a gaming account but we are unable to access the email due to how old it is.We were talk talk users years ago and the email is still active.We would like some assistance to reset the password so we can get this problem solved.

Make sure that you have completed your community forum profile details for them to identify your account. Add your landline number in Personal Information.

Go via your avatar/name; settings. SAVE CHANGES.

Heads up that TalkTalk Mail addresses including tiscali.co.uk addresses that are not added to an active TalkTalk Consumer customer MyAccount are limited to Internet browser webmail access and flagged for deletion if no action is taken to subscribe to TalkTalk MailPlus to retain full use of the email address.

If no sign in is detected in 180 days the mailbox is flagged for deletion for non-use. Deleted email addresses and their mailboxes are not recoverable or recreatable.

You say the email address is still active. When you use the Reset password now button in the Help page Changing your email password you'll see if you get a deleted or no domain error message or if you actually do have password recovery options saved. If the email address is still active on the TalkTalk Mail platform and you have set up password recovery options, that you recognise from the hints as your current recovery methods, you can send your alternate email address a link or your mobile a 6-digit code to authorise a password reset. If you see only the option to send a link to the tiscali email address then that means the password recovery options were never set up or have been deleted by hackers. A compromised account may be why an old email address that's not been used by you is still active.

Let us know the outcome and we'll guide you from there. If you need password recovery options setting up then the first thing is next week to get you to verify to TalkTalk Community Support the former tiscali broadband account holder's data assuming that's you.
