Cannot open e.mails or see mails in folders

I see several reports of client mails not working correctly. I'm not sure if my problem is related but I can access my mailbox okay and see both previously read and new/unread e.mails but neither old or new mails will open. When I click on one the area where the mails were listed goes blank with a spinning timer near the top. The Inbox is the only one I can see mails in. I cannot see any mails in either Spam; Sent; Trash or any of my archive folders

I have a tiscali mail account and use the Edge browser but I have checked with Chrome and the situation is the same there too

It looks like whatever the problem was, (server downtime maybe?) it has been resloved as everything seems to be working as it should.
