Login to email account failed

I have a tiscali.co.uk email account, which I use via Thunderbird. Two days ago, when trying to access my emails, I started getting a message saying "Login to account "username" failed", and asking if I want to enter a new password. I can still access emails on my phone (via Gmail), but not via Thunderbird on my PC.

How can I access my emails via Thunderbird?

Worth doing a sign in to TalkTalk Mail webmail to make sure you're using the correct password.

Select here: Sign in to TalkTalk Mail

Enter your full TalkTalk Mail tiscali email address, select Continue and enter the password, select Sign in.

The Thunderbird manual configuration for incoming and outgoing servers is:

If prompted to enter the password then tick the Save / Remember password box then enter the correct password.
