Sending emails from iPhone

I can’t find out to ask a new question so I am trying this. On my Tinyworld email on IPhone there is a banner saying Advertisement at the bottom. This is preventing me being able to write new emails or, if I have an email open, from being able to reply or anything else. Any ideas? Or info on how to ask a question generally. Thanks

I've moved your post to a new topic so we can help you better.

When you select a folder, let's say the Inbox folder, you'll see a list of mail messages. Bottom left, immediately above where it indicates Advertisement, you should see a pencil icon. Tap the pencil icon to start a new mail message.

If from the list of messages you tap to select a message you should then see at the bottom, immediately above where it indicates Advertisement, the Reply, Reply all, Delete and Forward icons.

Do you not see those icons mentioned?

Tell us what the iOS operating system version is or what model iPhone it is.

Take a screenshot, image edit to obscure any personal details and upload here using the picture icon above this Reply area in Community. I'd like to see what you do see to compare with what it should be.

Thanks. I know how to write emails and have been doing this up until now. The problem is that I can’t see or access the pencil icon as the advertisement is covering it sometimes fully sometimes just giving me a glimpse but won’t let me click it. It is an iPhone 12 iOS 16.6

OK, the iOS is supported with the Safari browser. Is Safari the browser in use? If not just do a quick check with Safari to see if you get the same result.

I'm wondering if the issue is the move of the address bar to the bottom of the screen. Have a look at this article and have a go at moving the address bar to the top of screen. Courtesy of PC Magazine - Move the address bar

Here's what I see. The pencil icon is in the clear and replaced in the same vertical space with the Reply, Reply all, Delete and Forward icons when a message is selected.

Thank you. I tried that and I do prefer the address bar at the top (thanks) but it has made no difference. I don’t see the pencil at all when I open an email. For some reason when I use “Portal” to get to the Inbox I get a glimpse of half a pencil but can’t click it. I also get this new message.

Usually the failed to start application is a transient error on the mail platform but in this case I believe it to be corrupted cookies because the cookies are necessary to the correct operation of the mail platform and apps.

So, a browser reset is required to remove any corrupt data and cookies. Apple advice - clear history cache and cookies.
