Email Bouncing

I send an email to my Mum, but over the last couple of days the email has been bounced. I am wondering if it is a her end, or my end. I use Outlook. She uses Tiscali.

It was fine for about 5 years prior to this.

We're aware that Outlook.com mail messages are being rejected with a TT992 bounce back error. This has been triggered by the spam protection process not by your mail message but either by the amount of spam emanating from Outlook servers or because the servers sending mail to TalkTalk are not fully authenticated.

This issue has happened before and was then a temporary measure to limit spam coming on to the TalkTalk network.

If you have an alternate email address to communicate with the tiscali address then now would be a good time to use it. Having said that some Gmail users are also facing the same problem. Perhaps Yahoo Mail would be a better bet until the Outlook.com issue is cleared.
