Hi Shirley

Many bulk email services use Suppression Lists to maintain their mail service reputation and to avoid being placed on blacklists.

What happens when they email you is that sometimes a problem happens with delivery. The mail service then retries delivery. If delivery still fails and the sending service believes it's a permanent fail then your email address gets added to the Suppression list and they will send you no more emails.

A manual reinstatement of your address or marking your address as a 'trusted recipient' is the temporary and permanent solution respectively.

Hi
This is an email I received from Park Run Organization:-
We have checked our logs and found that your provider reported that your email address (XXXXXXXX@talktalk.net) was permanently invalid on

This meant that the address was automatically placed on a suppression list, and further send attempts were not made.

However, we have removed your email address from this suppression list, and you should now receive these.

Please could you check why this has happened - it reoccurs every year with the Park Run notifications.
