emails not sending

yesterday evening my emails stopped sending with error code "too many recipients". I reduced it to one recipient but it still says "too many recipients"

The spam protection has been triggered to temporarily stop the sending from the mailbox.

What TT error code did you see? A TT501 error means the rate limit will be relaxed in an hour. Other codes may impose a rate limit for up to 24 hours.

It depends on what caused the sending limit to be exceeded.

Sending to a lot of recipients would trigger a temporary stop. Actual or suspected unauthorised use would trigger a lower limit that even normal use would trigger.
