Hi @pauldy

If you're using Windows Mail then the settings are not correct.

The incoming server port is not 933. (Or maybe that's just a typo?) Use the settings as shown below including all the tick boxes:

NB The incoming server can be imap.talktalk.net:993:1 or mail.talktalk.net:993:1

My Windows 10 laptop is not sending emails after a recent update. They remain in the Outbox.

The email settings are:

Incoming email server. imap.talktalk.net:933:1

SMTP. smtp.talktalk.net:587:0

Are these settings correct or are they new for Windows 11 (which I do not have and cannot upgrade to)?

thanks for your help

Pauldy

Hi Gondola,

Oops, that was a typo! It is 993, sorry!

All the tick boxes are as you have shown.

I tried switching the incoming server to mail.talktalk.net:993:1 but it made no difference, to the out going emails.

I appreciate your help.

cheers

Pauldy
