New webmail page format

In recent weeks the look of my web page has changed, meaning that I only have room to see one message, though sometimes two, on my screen at once. This makes scrolling through my messages tedious. Previously I could see perhaps as many as a dozen at one time.

Is there any way that I can change the settings of the screen so that I can again see a greater number of message headings in my list at any one time?

This seems to me to a rather pointless, and a definately very frsutrating, change.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Untick Show text preview in the Mail settings options to see more messages in the List view.

Select the Main settings menu cog icon  top right on the blue header (desktop browser)
Select All settings
Select Mail, expand the Reading section and scroll down to Message list
Untick Show text preview
Mobile browser? - select the triple line menu icon first then the cog icon for Settings
Select Mail and then the Reading panel
Untick Show text preview

If using a tablet then use the triple dots browser settings menu to set the browser display to Desktop site mode.
