Anyway can you block emails. ??getting a few ,with photo attachments,(not opened any) from someone i know vaguely but think may been hacked as got weird email address

There's some basic advice on setting up filter rules in the help content on Using TalkTalk Mail linked to below.

If the From address is consistent then best to redirect that mail to the Trash folder where it is available for 30 days for review before auto deletion.
